I am a diy person and need to start somewhere. These clippers are highly recommended by many. Bought a couple of different quality clipper sets at Walmart. Both of them overheated & burned up making them completely inoperative. This one is of a heavier duty with a heavier cord. This one has difficulty cutting through thick hair & gets hot to the touch but, at least it didn’t burn up.
